Mining operations, cement plants, petrochemical facilities, and large manufacturing plants – this is the range built for them.
Two compression stages with inter-stage cooling reduce the work required in the second stage, delivering 15-20% greater energy efficiency than single-stage alternatives at equivalent output. Lower discharge temperatures mean less thermal stress on every component – and a longer-lasting, more cost-effice machine over its lifetime.

AIR INTAKE
Ambient air enters through the oversized intake filtration system, protecting the air end from dust and particulates in harsh industrial environments.

STAGE 1- LOW PRESSURE
Air is compressed to an intermediate pressure level in the first stage. This initial compression is more efficient when split across two stages rather than done in one.

INTER-STAGE COOLING
Partially compressed air passes through an inter-stage cooler, significantly reducing its temperature. Cooler air is dense - meaning less work is required in the second stage.

STAGE 2- HIGH PRESSURE
Cooled air enters the second stage for final compression to working pressure. Lower inlet temperature means this stage operates more efficiently, at lower temperatures, with less component stress.

TWO-STAGE COMPRESSION

INTER-STAGE COOLING
Between compression stages, air passes through a dedicated cooler. Cooler air is denser and easier to compress - this is where the efficiency advantage is created and where component life is extended.

AIR-END TECHNOLOGY
Both compresstion stages use air-end technology with precision 5:6 lobe profile rotors, SKF bearings throughout. Designed for sustained high-load operation.

FIXED SPEED & VSD OPTIONS
All 13 SA2S models are available in both fixed-speed and Variable Speed Drive configurations - choose based on your demand profile and energy saving requirements.

ADVANCED PLC CONTROL
Electronic PLC controller with full protection suite: phase fualts, overheating, low oil, overload, and service reminders. Real-time monitoring of all critical parameters.

EXTREME CONDITION ENGINEERING
Purpose-built for South African mining, cement, and petrochemical environments. Rated to 50° ambient. Oversized cooling, heavy-duty filtration, SANS 347 and ASME certified.
